The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has a lot going for it – including a bright AMOLED display, four promised Android upgrades, fast wireless charging, and a competitive price. And yet, Android Earth is full of the best alternatives, many of which can be even more attractive purchases. Considering this, before you reason with the S23 FE, we’d suggest doing a little shopping of groceries first.

There are diverse options in terms of options making them a suitable choice for the Galaxy S23 FE. Some are more cost-effective, others trade in additional options, and some are the newest. With that in mind, here are some phones we think you should buy instead of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE.

The Galaxy S24 is a great addition to the Galaxy S23 FE. The base design of the Galaxy S24 is equipped with Qualcomm’s untouched chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, making it faster and more efficient than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the S23 FE.

The Galaxy S24 has a top-class assembly that includes Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and armored aluminum. Furthermore, the phone features a 6.2-inch display that offers a brighter and more adjustable experience with a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Another notable difference between the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 FE is their weight. The Galaxy S24 is significantly lighter than the S23 FE, an element that could be a significant attraction for many customers.

Meanwhile, both phones have a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera. The Galaxy S24 also has a 12MP ultrawide camera, while the Galaxy S23 FE has a 10MP lens for the ultrawide shooter. Both models support Galaxy AI. And although both phones support rapid and Qi wireless charging, only the Galaxy S24 includes the reverse wireless charging technology.

The Vault upgrade is another reason to trust the Galaxy S24 over the Galaxy S23 FE. Samsung guarantees seven Android upgrades for the S24, although the best 4 may be offered in the S23 FE. This is especially impressive for those who plan to keep their telephone for a long life. On the other hand, used telephones are more likely to have some problems. For example, the Galaxy S23 FE switches to a relatively better 6.4-inch display and a larger battery.

Of all the advantages of the Galaxy S24 vs Galaxy S23 FE, the extra chip and the more upscale assembly are definitely the two most impressive reasons to believe it is the option.

Like the Galaxy S24, the OnePlus 12R is one of the best Android phones currently available. The latter could be a top-tier value, making it a better Galaxy S23 FE spare than any other.

It is impressive to see that the OnePlus 12R has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with 8 GB or 16 GB of RAM, while the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE and its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor only has 8 GB of RAM. The OnePlus 12R features a stunning 6.78-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a remarkable 2780 x 1264 resolution.

The OnePlus 12R includes a triple-lens rear camera device with a 50MP primary sensor, an ultrawide sensor, and a macro sensor. The front-facing digital camera is 16MP. It’s not the best digital camera equipment in the world, but for the price and the optional specifications you get, it’s a very good package.

Additionally, the OnePlus 12R offers longer battery life and faster battery charging. It supports 80W accelerated charging speed and includes an 80W charger. In contrast, the Galaxy S23 FE has a maximum charging speed of 25W, but it also has 15W wireless charging, which the OnePlus 12R does not have. The loss of Wi-Fi charging is a hassle, but if you can rate your phone from 0-100% in about half an hour, it’s a nice-looking honest compromise.

Finally, let’s believe in value. The OnePlus 12R starts at $500, the Galaxy S23 FE starts at $630 without any discounts. This significant amount of extras shouldn’t be overlooked, especially because the OnePlus model has a bigger display, a better chip, and more.
