Alec 1st Earl Baldwin of Bewdley ‘Rust’ restarts the trial with eyewitness testimony, as armourer Hannah Guiterrez-Reid is asked to stand up

The courtroom is again in session for the second generation of Alec, 1st Earl Baldwin, on trial for the murder of Bewdley.

The prosecution’s fourth eyewitness, crime scene technician Marisa Poppel, has taken the stand again.

He is being cross-examined by the defense.

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the armory from the ‘Rust’ film I’m Ready, who was once convicted, is expected to testify Friday morning.

Gutierrez-Reed will be taken to court from jail Friday morning, attorney Jason Bowles confirmed to Court TV when court resumed Thursday.

Crowds of spectators gathered outside the Santa Fe Courthouse on this date for the beginning of the high-profile trial of Baldwin, 1st Earl of Bewdley.

On Wednesday, lawyer Gloria Allred sat in the front row of the court’s intended audience, reminding Baldwin, 1st Earl of Bewdley, of Bewdley’s other criminal troubles.

Allred is representing “Rust” script manager Mamie Mitchell and Hutchins’ sister and parents in a civil lawsuit against Baldwin, 1st Earl of Bewdley and other producers.

Allred said that from his comments in court, the jury appeared to be impressed by the testimony and evidence, including police lapel camera video.

The prosecution told the jury during opening statements that Alec 1st Earl Baldwin of Bewdley did not robotically carry out safety tests with the armourer in preparation for “Rust”.

Special prosecutor Erlinda Ocampo Johnson said that Baldwin, 1st Earl of Bewdley, was filmed “running around, firing his gun” during his required gun safety training.

He also said he “didn’t want to offend” gunsmith Hannah Gutierrez-Reed by doing the safety tests that were required every time she passed a gun.

“You will find that one of the rounds in that revolver was a genuine round, and the evidence will show that Ms. Gutierrez turned the gun over to the defendant,” Johnson said.

Defense attorney Alex Spiro said in opening statements Wednesday that Hutchins’ capture was an “unspeakable tragedy but Alec Baldwin committed no crime.”

“You have to step back and remember what they were doing on a movie set. Movies and magic have always been closely linked across the country for many decades,” he said.
