AP Resources says takeover of Trump rally being investigated as murder conflict

BUTLER, Pa. (AP) — Donald Trump appeared to be about to be assassinated while speaking at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, police said. The former president, who left his ear bloody from what he said was a gunshot, was temporarily removed by Invisible Service agents and his campaign said he was “fine.”

A local prosecutor said the suspected gunman and at least one participant were dead. Invisible Providers said two spectators were seriously injured.

Posting on his Fact social media website about two and a half hours after the shooting, Trump said a bullet “hit the top of my right ear.”

“I immediately knew something was wrong, I heard a whizzing sound, a shot was fired and immediately felt the bullet pierce the skin,” he said in the post. “There was a lot of bleeding, then I realized what was happening.”

The attack by a shooter who police say was next killed by the Invisible Service was the first assassination attempt on a president or presidential candidate since Ronald Reagan was shot in 1981 . It comes amid a deeply polarized political environment, just months before the 4th presidential election and days before Trump is formally nominated as the Republican nominee at his birthday celebration convention.

“President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their swift action during this heinous act,” spokesman Steven Cheung said in a comment. “He is fine and is being examined at a local medical facility. More information will be given later.

The invisible provider said the suspected shooter “fired from an elevated position outside the rally site.” Trump “is safe and is being evaluated,” the company said.

President Joe Biden, who is running against Trump as the presumptive Democratic nominee, said in remarks, “There is no place in America for this kind of violence.” “It’s sick. It’s sick.”

Two officials spoke to The Related Press on condition of anonymity about the ongoing investigation. He said the shooter had not attended the rally and was killed by US Invisible Service agents.

Officials said the shooter was searched for and killed by members of the US Invisible Service counterassault team. After some time, Trump stood on his feet and could be seen placing his right hand towards his face. There was blood on his face. He then raised his fist in the air and appeared to shout “fight” twice into his group of supporters, prompting loud applause and chants of “USA”. USA. USA.”

After a few moments his convoy left the venue. The video shows Trump turning towards the public and raising a fist just before being put into the car.

Newshounds covering the rally heard 5 or 6 shots and many people hid under tables to shield.

Then the first two-three explosions shocked people in the society, but did not panic. An AP reporter at the scene reported that the noise initially appeared to be from firecrackers or possibly from an automobile backfiring.

However there are additional photos ahead. I was terrified when people found out what was happening. “climb down!” The screams echoed throughout the society.

When the situation was brought under control and Trump would not return to speak, attendees began leaving the venue. A man in an electric wheelchair was caught in a field when his chair’s batteries died. Others attempted to support his journey.

Police immediately asked the public to leave the venue and US Invisible Provider agents told journalists to “get out now”. “It’s a living crime scene.”

Two firefighters from within Steubenville, Ohio, who were at the rally, advised the AP that they helped members of the public who appeared to be injured and heard gunshots over the broadcast audio system.

“Bullets flew around the grandstand, hit a speaker tower and then chaos ensued. “We got on the ground and then the police gathered in the grandstand,” Chris Takach said.

“The first thing I heard was some cracks,” Dave Sullivan said.

Sullivan said he saw an audio system crash and a volley of gunfire and, “We hit the deck.”

He said that as the Invisible Providers and alternative executives converged on Trump, he and Takach helped two people who had been shot in the grandstand move them out of the way.

“Just a sad day for America,” Sullivan said.

“When we heard the shots being fired, the hydraulic line was spraying all around, you could see hydraulic fluid coming out of it. And then the speaker tower started falling,” Sullivan said. “Then we heard another gunshot, which you could hear, you knew something was there, it was gunshots. These were not firecrackers.”

“They weren’t extremely fast shots,” he said.

“You can hear it landing on metal, ammunition landing,” Takach said.

After this he took cover behind a farm tractor.

Sullivan said he was worried about Trump and watched him wake up.

“He got up and said he was OK,” Sullivan said, raising his fist in Trump-like manner.

Political violence once again shook America

The dangers of campaigning took on a new urgency after the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy in California in 1968, and again in 1972 when Arthur Bremer shot and seriously wounded George Wallace, who at one time was on a campaign platform. But were working in isolation. Then because of the shooting at the Trump rally, the Biden campaign was stopping all messaging to supporters and working to pull all of its television ads as briefly as possible, the campaign said.

Donald Trump Jr. posted a photo of Trump on Twitter, with his fists raised and his face covered in blood in front of an American flag, with the words: “He will never stop fighting to save America. ”

North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, Florida Senator Marco Rubio and Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, three of the people on Trump’s shortlist for vice president, immediately sent statements expressing concern for the former president, with Rubio carrying an image of Trump.
