Pune: IAS Officer Pooja KhedkarTai, who has been under fire for alleged wastage of energy and disability and rigging of OBC quota, was reportedly concerned about another discrepancy where she added two other names – Khedkar, Pooja Diliprao, and Pooja Manorama, Dilip Khedkar, Rejected.
In 2019, in her Civil Services preliminary examination, the IAS trainee had registered herself as Khedkar Pooja Diliprao, and her appointment in SAI was also in the same name as Benchmark Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) (LV) – OBC. On the other hand, in her 2022 career allotment through Union Community Services and Products Commission (UPSC), where she was selected for IAS, she was selected under the name of Pooja Manorama Dilip Khedkar under PWBD-Multiple Disabilities (MD) Division. I went. In the order dated February 23, 2023 of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Mumbai Bench, she was named as Pooja Manorama Dilip Khedkar as the applicant.

He did this despite having a disability certificate from Ahmednagar District Medical Institute for low optic in 2018 and for psychotic depression and occasional optic in 2021. While the District Civil Health Center of Aundh had rejected her application due to “double submission”, the Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Health Center (YCMH) of Pimpri had granted her a 7% locomotor disability certificate due to an ACL tear.
As of 2022, she was an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer, posted as Associate Director Sports Authority of India (SAI) from 2021. He was selected for IRS under OBC division and PWBD (Low Optic). However, when Khedkar wrote the UPSC exam again in that life, he was selected for IAS under OBC and PWBD (MD), which means multiple disability/category. Apparently three other disability certificates helped him get IAS grade under MD quota, but still get OBC quota with non-creamy layer certificates.
Dr Nagnath Yempalle, civil surgeon, District Civil Health Centre, Aundh, told TOI on Monday, “Khedkar obtained a 7% disability certificate for locomotor disability from YCMH on August 24, 2022. On October 11, 2022, we rejected her August 23, 2022 application on the grounds that the Unique Disability ID (UDID) website showed the presence of two concurrent applications. He had applied for the certificate twice. “As a result, we rejected his application.”
TOI repeatedly sent text messages to Khedkar on Monday shouting at him to search for his model on the field. He did not give any reply till the time of writing the news. Dr Rajendra Wable, dean of the postgraduate institute at YCMH, Pimpri, told TOI that he has qualified Pooja Khedkar as having 7% locomotor disability. “We believe that her online application at Aundh hospital was automatically canceled as the certificate had already been prepared at YCMH,” he said.
The YCMH disability certificate states, “The diagnosis in her case is a chronic ACL tear with left knee instability. As per guidelines she has 7% permanent disability with respect to left lower limb.
In Pune, 9 centres, including Sassoon Common Health Centre, District Civil Health Centre, Aundh, YCMH, Pimpri and Kamla Nehru Health Centre, have been designated to check habits to authenticate a person’s condition, followed by disability certificate. The letter is prepared.

Reports revealed that Khedkar was diagnosed with 40% optic loss; And in 2021, he was awarded a certificate for depression and occasional optic with auto-generated disability assessed at 51% by the Civil Medical Institute in Ahmednagar. He discussed that the Collector will send the report to the Divisional Commissioner and the Status Disability Commissioner.
The file said, “On April 25, 2018, Pooja Khedkar was examined by an ophthalmologist for vision problem and she was found to be suffering from BE high myopia with myopic degeneration with 40% permanent disability.
