More than five years after introducing the first generation Galaxy Buds, Samsung has finally announced the third edition of the earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 3. These came in a Galaxy Unpacked match with the more complex Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, where the company also smartly introduced several alternative products.

The Galaxy Buds 3 are the direct successor to the Galaxy Buds 2. The fresh earbuds offer huge improvements compared to the older earbuds with respect to design, ruggedness, sturdiness, connectivity, audio details, name details, battery moment and complex options. Let’s take a look at all the improvements in quality.

Brand new design and increased strength

The Galaxy Buds 3 have a very different design for the earbuds compared to the Galaxy Buds 2, apart from the charging case.

Opening with the earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 3 have a stem design, indistinguishable from Apple AirPods. This design offers several benefits.

First of all, the Galaxy Buds 3 don’t protrude from your ears as much as the Galaxy Buds 2, which makes them look more snug. Second, they feel more comfortable and stock in the ear. Third, the stem design brings the microphone closer to your lips, providing better name detail, which is something we’ll be able to talk about in additional quality in the future.

Samsung has made the Galaxy Buds 3 stronger and sturdier than the Galaxy Buds 2. The used earbuds have an IP52 rating for H2O and dust resistance, while the new earbuds come with an IP57 rating.

With this, the Galaxy Buds 3 are more resistant to H2O, rain, sweat, and dirt than the Galaxy Buds 2. This makes Samsung’s earbuds better in terms of durability than most alternative earbuds available in the market, including Apple AirPods. IP54 ranking.

As far as the charging case is concerned, it has a vertical design compared to the horizontal design of the Galaxy Buds 2. It takes up very little space on your table. The charging case also has a transparent lid, so you can check which earbuds are available in the case and which are not, reducing the chances of you losing them. The vertical design should also allow case manufacturers to offer better examples for the Galaxy Buds 3.

pairing button

The charging case for the Galaxy Buds 3 includes a pairing button, which is something that is not available on the Galaxy Buds 2. This button means you can briefly pair the earbuds with a device refresh. The way it works is as follows:

If your Galaxy Buds 3 are already paired with a device, but now you want to pair it with a new device, press and hold the pairing button on the charging case for a few seconds to put it in pairing mode. As soon as this happens, the Galaxy Buds 3 will also be found on the device with which you want to pair those earbuds.

higher audio description

The Galaxy Buds 2 of the month have a dual-driver design, the Galaxy Buds 3 have a single-driver audio setup.

You might take a moment to assume that the Galaxy Buds 3 won’t be as good as the Galaxy Buds 2. However, this is not necessarily the case. There are plenty of earphones with a single driver that have better pitch than earphones with two or more drivers. We will be able to say how impressive the Galaxy Buds 3 look when viewed as a whole.

Talking about connectivity, Galaxy Buds 2 have Bluetooth 5.2. On the other hand, the Galaxy Buds 3 have Bluetooth 5.4. A more modern model of Bluetooth provides a more solid and stock connection than the one used. This means you should enjoy less connection dropouts in the Galaxy Buds 3 compared to the Galaxy Buds 2.

Along with a more modern version of Bluetooth, the Galaxy Buds 3 also include SSC HiFi and SSC UHQ audio formats. In comparison, the Galaxy Buds 2 component has the most effective SSC. SSC stands for Samsung Scalable Codec and UHQ stands for Extremely Prime Constituent. The two fresh audio formats offer 24bit/96kHz sampling rate, which enables the transmission of upper detail audio from Galaxy gadgets to the earbuds, resulting in significantly better audio detail.

high name details

As discussed earlier, the microphones on the Galaxy Buds 3 are closer to your lips than those on the Galaxy Buds 2, which should provide better audio recording and, as a result, better name detail. On the other hand, the new earbuds include two new options to enhance the name details even more.

The microphones on the Galaxy Buds 3 are part of the Tremendous Wideband (SWB) era. This allows the microphone to report audio with a wider bandwidth than the Galaxy Buds 2 microphone. Wider bandwidth equals higher audio detail.

This means that with this generation, the Galaxy Buds 3 will be able to better capture your pronunciation and transmit it to the person on the other end of the call, allowing them to hear you with ultimate clarity.

Despite these improvements, the Galaxy Buds 3 probably won’t be able to properly record bits of your pronunciation if you speak too softly or have excessive background noise. Cleverly, the Galaxy Buds 3 will help Galaxy AI to reconstruct the wrong parts of your pronunciation so that the other person can clearly hear what you are saying. The Galaxy Buds 3 have every other Galaxy AI component that we’ll be able to talk about in the future.

long battery moment

The charging case for the Galaxy Buds 3 includes a 515mAh battery. This is 9% more than the battery of the Galaxy Buds 2 charging case.

With this development, the full audio playback date has increased by 4 hours when ANC is on and one generation is off when ANC is on, and the full audio playback date has increased by 5 hours when ANC is on and 6 when ANC is on. The hours have increased and the ANC has been closed.

Those are some amazing numbers. You will see the battery spare of the new earbuds in the symbol below.

Story continues near video…

It’s important to point out that the Galaxy Buds 3 have a smaller battery than the Galaxy Buds 2 (48mAh as opposed to 61mAh). Thankfully, this hasn’t affected the battery life of the earbuds as you can see in the symbol above.

Galaxy AI for real-time language translation

With Galaxy AI on the Galaxy Buds 3, it’s possible to hear what the other person is saying in their own language on your earbuds in real time, a highly useful feature that is no longer available on the Galaxy Buds 2.

To use this component, place your Galaxy Buds 3 near your ear, plug the interpreter into your Galaxy Z Line 6 or Galaxy Z Turn 6, and choose a listening method, and you’re good to go. We are hoping that Samsung will expand this component to used Galaxy smartphones and capsules with the replacement of the interpreter.

With these types of features, the Galaxy Buds 3 are much better than the Galaxy Buds 2. If you think these features are worth the upgrade and if you are thinking of buying one, you better take a look at the prices and dates of the new earbuds head over to this article or head over to the hyperlink below to pre-order them.
