A spokesperson for Manufacturing says performances will resume Thursday, and that night’s performance has been canceled. The spokesperson said, “Ian is recovering well, and (we) look forward to returning to production as soon as he is ready.” “We will keep viewers updated about the remaining performances this week.”
McKellen was taken to a hospital in Paddington on Monday, where he was treated for his injuries, which included a fractured wrist, according to sources who spoke to Deadline.

According to the BBC, McKellen, who played John Falstaff, lost his footing during a battle scene involving the Prince of Wales and Henry Percy when he fell off the stage. According to the Scoop outlet, as McKellen was screaming in pain, the house lights turned on and the team called time to help him.
The night’s performance was canceled and the audience was sent home.
