Interior Disney Communications’ next hack leaks online

According to records data seen by The Wall Boulevard Magazine, data from Disney’s internal Slack workplace collaboration tool was leaked online, including discussions about ad campaigns, studio generation and interviewing applicants.

An anonymous hacking team that calls itself Nullbulge said in a blog post that it exposed data from thousands of the entertainment company’s Slack channels, including computer code and data about unreleased projects. Slack is widely used in large companies for team communication about strategic tasks.

Mob’s claims about the scope of the documents and how he obtained them could not be immediately verified. Subject matter explored by the magazine included conversations about Disney’s company website, equipment manufacturing, testing of applicants for the business, technology for emerging leaders inside ESPN, and footage of the employees’ dogs, which featured a minimum of Contains knowledge up to 2019.

A spokesperson said, “Disney is investigating this matter.”

The leisure giant’s companies span movies, streaming products and services including Disney+ and Hulu, theme soils, cable TV and sports activities giant ESPN. It is home to popular franchises including Marvel and MegaStar Wars.

In recent weeks, Nullbullz posted screenshots online of documents it claimed to have obtained from the company’s Slack channels. Nalbulge said they were excerpts from project details and plans, as well as consulting, bookings and earnings data from Disneyland Paris.

Nullbulz functions as a hacktivist group that advocates artist rights and chooses its objectives according to social, financial or political values. A spokesperson for the gang said via a web-based message that it blamed Disney “because of the way it handles artist contracts, its approach to AI, and its (sic) very clear disregard for the consumer”. Is targeted.

These comments crash into the growing ideological rift in the entertainment industry as advances in artificial intelligence increase. Some artists and activists worry that creative works are being removed from the Web without compensation by giant companies that use it to power unused chatbots and alternative tools that provide text, images, and text for user questions. Videos generate reactions. Many tech companies have claimed that depopulating networks is the true quality of the workers deployed there.

The spokesperson said Nalabulz released the information because he thought it would be useless to make demands of Disney. The spokesperson said, “If we said ‘Hello Disney, we have all your data’ they would immediately lock down and try to take us out. In a duel, you’re better off firing first.”

According to Eric Parker, a security researcher who tracks the gang’s online activities, Nalbulge began claiming in May that he had accessed Disney’s computer technologies. He believes that the hacking team is actually a bachelor. “He’s not doing it for the money,” Parker said. “I think it’s an attention-seeking exercise.”

Security researchers say the hacking team has so far distributed the sinister device by hiding it within different add-ons for video games and AI-powered image-generation devices, a tactic known as a worm.

Crowd said he accessed the ideas through a Disney supervisor of device manufacturing, whose computer he compromised twice – once using a videogame add-on, and the second hour using a hidden mode. It wasn’t immediately clear how much access the gang had to Disney’s Slack gadget.

The mob in Life has stolen personal data and online credentials and subsequently exposed them online including Disney employee’s personal data. The worker did not return calls for comment.

Public disclosure of corporate internal messages, code and paperwork would also be extremely disruptive to companies and threaten to undermine their industrial goals. In 2014, hackers linked to North Korea sent Sony Pictures into chaos, dangerous internal strategies and publicly released email messages, including embarrassing exchanges involving Sony co-chairman Amy Pascal, who was in trouble for months after the incident. Later he fell ill.
