DEIR AL-BALA, Gaza Strip (AP) — At least 25 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a school-shelter in southern Gaza on Tuesday, as massive bombardment in the north prompted the closure of medical facilities in Gaza City. and hundreds of people were sent in search Increasing number of elusive shelters,

Israel’s attack on a disused grassland in Gaza’s largest city is the latest effort to fight Hamas militants who had previously been largely cleared by the army.

Over the next nine months of fighting, large parts of Gaza City and its surrounding concrete areas were either leveled or left in ruins. Most of the people fled in the fightingHowever, several million Palestinians live in the north.

“The fighting has been intense,” said Hakim Abdel-Bar, who fled Gaza Town’s Tufa district to the home of relatives in another part of the city. He said Israeli warplanes and drones were “attacking anything that moves” and tanks had moved into central districts.

At least 25 people died in the accident that occurred in front of the school, according to a Related Press reporter counting bodies at the Nasser Health Center in Khan Younis. Health center spokesman Weem Fares said the dead included at least seven women and children and that the death toll was likely to rise.

Previous air strikes in central Gaza killed at least 14 people, including a woman and four children, according to two hospitals that received the bodies. Israel has repeatedly attacked terrorist targets in Gaza since the war began nine months ago.

The military blames Hamas for civilian deaths as militants fight in non-transparent, urban areas, but the military rarely comments on individual actions, often targeting women and children. The Israeli military said it was reviewing reports of civilian casualties in the airstrike on the school, and claimed the crash targeted a Hamas militant who took part in the October 7 attack on Israel.

Negative rapid oaths were also used on casualties in Gaza City. Families whose relatives were injured or trapped were calling for ambulances, but first responders could no longer reach most of the affected districts because of the Israeli operation, said Palestinian Pink Crescent spokesman Nabel Farsakh.

“This is a dangerous area,” she said.

Then Israel called for evacuation on Monday United International Locals said that from eastern and central parts of Gaza City, personnel from two hospitals – Al-Ahli and the Suffering Friends Association health center – have been put on a strict schedule to visit patients and turn in those who are unwell. Farsakh said all three medical facilities running through the Pink Crescent in Gaza City were closed.

Ratings of patients were transferred to the Indonesian health center in northern Gaza, which itself used to be large scale battle scene First in the struggle. “We don’t know where to go. There is no treatment there and no necessities for life,” said Mohammed Abu Nasr, who was being treated there. “We are slowly dying.”

The Israeli military said on Tuesday it had instructed hospitals and alternative medical facilities in Gaza City not to evacuate. However, hospitals in Gaza are increasingly being closed and patients are being transferred at any sign of possible Israeli military action due to fear of raids.

The Episcopal Church at Heart East, which operates Al-Ahli, said the sanatorium was “forced to close by the Israeli military” following evacuation orders and drone strikes in the vicinity on Sunday.

Within nine months, Israeli troops took over at least eight hospitals, causing the deaths of patients and medical staff as well as massive damage to facilities and equipment. Israel has claimed that Hamas uses hospitals for military purposes, although it has provided only limited evidence.

Of Gaza’s 36 hospitals, only 13 are functioning, and of those that are partially operated in line with UN humanitarian work, only 13 are functioning.

Israel’s campaign in Gaza, prompted by Hamas’ October 7 attack, has killed or injured more than 5% of Gaza’s 2.3 million Palestinians, according to the territory’s State Ministry. Almost all the people have been thrown out of their homes. Many people were displaced several times. there are hundreds Packed into hot tent camps,

The UN humanitarian office said the exodus into Gaza City was “dangerously chaotic”, with crowds being driven to flee areas where fighting was ongoing.

“People have been seen running in multiple directions, not knowing which path may be the safest,” the company said in a comment. It said the city’s largest UN bakery was forced to do the same, and that the fighting had banned aid groups from gaining access to warehouses.

Maha Mahfouz, a mother of two, said she fled twice within 24 hours. She first traveled on a tight schedule from her home in Gaza Town to a relative’s house in the second group. As the situation worsened, she fled on Monday evening to Shati, a decades-old refugee camp that has grown into an urban district that Israel has repeatedly raided.

He described massive destruction in the areas affected by the latest raids. “Buildings were destroyed. Roads were destroyed. Everything is reduced to debris,” he said.

The Israeli military said it had received information that militants from Hamas and the smaller Islamic Jihad group were regrouping in central Gaza city. Israel has accused Hamas and other militants of hiding among civilians. In Shijaiyah, a Gaza town group that has been the subject of weeks of fighting, the army said it had destroyed 6 kilometers (3 miles) of Hamas tunnels.

Hamas has warned that the latest raid on Gaza Town could lead to the failure of talks to trade a ceasefire and the release of hostages.

Israel and Hamas realized this reduce the interval in fresh daysWith the mediation of America, Egypt and Qatar.

CIA Director William Burns met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in Cairo on Tuesday to talk about the talks, el-Sisi’s workplace was cited as saying. Further talks were to be held on Wednesday in Qatar, where Hamas has its political offices.

Although disruptions remain, Hamas has adopted a softer stance on its main call for Israel to end the conflict as part of any reassurance. Hamas nevertheless wants mediators to ensure that the talks end with a permanent ceasefire.

Israel has any trade undesired that could give it the power to end the conflict with Hamas. Hamas on Monday accused top Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of “placing more obstacles in the way of negotiations” along with the operation in Gaza Town.

According to the Israeli government, a Hamas cross-border attack on October 7 killed 1,200 people in southern Israel, most of them civilians. The militants took a crowd of about 250 people hostage. About 120 are still in captivity, some third are said to be dead.

Israel’s bombings and attacks in Gaza have killed more than 38,200 people and injured more than 88,000, according to the territory’s state ministry, which does not distinguish between warring parties and civilians in its territory.
