Tropical Storm Beryl Watch: Basic Map, Fashion, and Path

Well, let me tell you that, it is raining a lot at the moment and very severe weather is going on in that north-eastern region. We always talk about tropical systems making landfall. Right now we have ten tornado warnings up to Northeast Texas. And as this storm continues to move towards the north-east, it will weaken. And we’re expecting the threat of severe weather to subside by tonight. But at the moment, it is not that north-eastern quadrant. We’re having some significant rain and winds here. Well, we’ve got several active severe weather warnings. Right now we have ten tornado warnings in that northeast quadrant. This is absolutely amazing. Right now, the folks at ArcLatex are very busy covering severe weather like this this evening. And we have had a lot of rain here. Ken was talking about that offshore 15.5. But Houston, a new wave, anywhere from six inches to ten inches of rain. We still have tropical storm warnings in effect inland and along the coast. They will probably end sometime this evening and then return home locally. We are still experiencing heavy thunderstorms today, around 2000 lightning strikes in the last 15 to 20 minutes. We are currently monitoring this group of storms. Northeast Marion County, stay indoors. Let this pass and we will be much better off. But then again, the bigger story, Beryl is getting weaker. We’re seeing a threat of severe weather there. And we are seeing flashes of lightning here in our visual field. back to you. Ok Tony, thanks. And Beryl is the first hurricane to hit the US this season. And Texas officials say at least two people have already died as a result of that storm. Michael Yoshida is in Houston to take a look at the damage left behind. I looked up and my ceiling was missing. It just went away. A terrifying moment for Texans living along the coast, Hurricane Beryl devastated the state as it made its way inland, completely disrupting the wind tunnel. Stuff started flying off the walls and around the house. The strength of the storm, with wind gusts reaching 94 mph in Freeport and knocking out power to more than 2 million customers in the state, according to PowerOutage.us, with the biggest issues going to be the focal point in Texas, New Mexico Is. Estimating how many homes and businesses are without power. And then our favorite people over the next few days will be the linemen as they go out and get their power back on, and back up for everybody across the field. Fallen trees, overturned trucks and collapsed roofs. Houston firefighters rescue a man trapped in his bed after a tree fell on his home.
