Spain: De la Fuente’s XI will change with three absences as Dani Carvajal and Robin Le Normand are suspended and Pedri is injured. The latter tournament has already ended and there was initially some confusion over Alvaro Morata’s eligibility. The captain will be available but Nacho and Jesus Navas could bring experience into the eleven while Danny Elmo should be Pedri’s replacement. Expect to see Morata supported by Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal.

France: Adrien Rabiot should return to the starting eleven after suspension, so Mbappe’s form and fitness are the main concerns for Deschamps ahead of this clash. Mike Maignan is in form and could once again replace Eduardo Camavinga with Rabiot at the back of a pristine defence. However, there is some debate in France over whether Antoine Griezmann will be dropped due to concerns over his form and fitness against the country where he plies his trade.

Expect this to be another tough match with plenty of tension and very little free-flowing football.
