Samsung is using virtual heath innovation to help simplify condition and wellness by bringing together insights and metrics to drive business into a more efficient and streamlined health experience. This approach starts by improving access to easy and accurate condition monitoring through Samsung’s BioActive sensors, which will provide you with more complete, personalized and accurate condition data.

Building on this project, Samsung is once again raising the bar and introducing the latest version of its bioactive sensor. Speaking of the nearest Galaxy Monitor, existing sensors will allow for more accurate position measurements as well as complex predictive and preventive wellness features never before seen on a wearable device.¹

Introducing Samsung’s virgin bioactive sensor

The all-new BioActive sensor is key to bringing better preventative status stories to your nearest Galaxy Monitor, with design enhancements that allow for more accurate status insight. Samsung engineers are thinking about 3 upgrades to the current sensor: Improving the efficiency of the light-receiving photodiodes, including adding backup colors of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and arranging them optimally around the sensor .

Samsung more than doubled the efficiency of each photodiode, effectively reducing the amount needed to maintain capacity from 8 to 4. This redesign freed up backup area for the combination of larger volume and number of LEDs and ensured their optimal placement around the sensor. , Current sensors now include blue, yellow, violet and ultraviolet LEDs as well as improved options of green, pink and infrared LEDs. With the combination and combination of those LEDs, photodiodes and specially designed photodiodes, Samsung is taking innovation one step further and is now ready to pursue untapped aspects of position tracking on wearables.
